Researchers have determined that current and/or previous use of fluoroquinolones could double your risk of suffering an aortic aneurysm. Aortic dissection risks are also increased with use of these medications.
The FDA now requires drugs classified as fluoroquinolones to display stronger warning labels as permanent nerve/muscle damage can occur. These drugs include Levaquin and Cipro.
